Pastor Jago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Haag scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Wennersten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Wennersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Petermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. SIRI United's Santiago Cañizares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save SIRI United from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes SIRI United got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Petermann. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Santiago Cañizares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Haag in the 29th minute of play forced FC Eichenwies's goalkeeper Hugo Wennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes SIRI United got a freekick which was hit by Urban Fankhauser. Hugo Wennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Petermann in the 42nd minute of play. Massimo Poulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Wennersten having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Haag stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Wennersten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Petermann's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute, Ricardo Haag got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SIRI United's zone, Gus Tanner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Cañizares came out of the goal and Gus Tanner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Pastor Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Wennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Haag in the 70th minute of play. Hugo Wennersten stood somewhat misplaced when Ricardo Haag came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 70 minute. In the 73rd match minute, SIRI United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatus Moquin to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Wennersten was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Ricardo Haag capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Haag really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Massimo Poulin struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hugo Wennersten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SIRI United. 80 minutes into the match, FC Eichenwies's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Petermann came free, but Hugo Wennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Eichenwies's Hugo Wennersten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save FC Eichenwies from getting a goal against them. When SIRI United's Ricardo Haag in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chants of SIRI United echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Eichenwies had held the ball for most of the match.
