With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Wennersten saved FC Eichenwies from getting behind. Massimo Beschmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Lorenzo Hagenbuch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Thierachern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Hagenbuch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gus Tanner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute, Lorenzo Hagenbuch made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Wennersten. FC Eichenwies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Hagenbuch notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Eichenwies's Hugo Wennersten. Hugo Wennersten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Wennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 30th minute of play forced FC Eichenwies's goalkeeper Hugo Wennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Lorenzo Hagenbuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Eichenwies's Hugo Wennersten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Thierachern's Stefan Lyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Massimo Beschmann in the 33rd minute of play. Stefan Lyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Fah in the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, FC Eichenwies's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Ghițescu came free, but Hugo Wennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Eichenwies booed when FC Thierachern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Ghițescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gus Tanner managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eichenwies's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Tanner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Lyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Lyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Fah in the 42nd minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Gregory Fah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Lyle. FC Thierachern's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregory Fah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

FC Thierachern made a substitution. Pancho Jeanneret replaced Gabriel Peter. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gus Tanner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Wennersten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Ghițescu in the 53rd minute of play. Lorenzo Hagenbuch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Hugo Wennersten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lorenzo Hagenbuch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Wennersten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. A hard shot 57 in the game by Lorenzo Hagenbuch from a close distance when the talented Hugo Wennersten managed to make a qualified save. FC Eichenwies's players were relieved. Pavel Ghițescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hugo Wennersten made a huge save. In the 61st minute Pavel Ghițescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Wennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Eichenwies getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Florin Schwaller hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, FC Eichenwies's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pancho Jeanneret fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, FC Eichenwies's Hugo Wennersten got control of the ball when Pavel Ghițescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, FC Thierachern's Pavel Ghițescu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Wennersten was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, FC Eichenwies's goalkeeper Hugo Wennersten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch. Pavel Ghițescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Wennersten having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Ghițescu in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Wennersten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 95 minutes, Lorenzo Hagenbuch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Thierachern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Hagenbuch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Thierachern had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
