Goffrey Waron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tomas Clijsters made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Daevy Inglebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Goffrey Waron came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Zantho F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goffrey Waron couldn't finish the play. Tomas Clijsters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Weets in the 33rd minute of play. Niki Scheerens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dimitry Ceusters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaiser's Tomas Clijsters proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Kaiser from getting a goal against them. Alex Preuveneer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. F.C. Kaiser's Tomas Clijsters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Weets in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sean Weets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, F.C. Kaiser's Daevy Inglebert tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Zantho F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Joey De Weerdt hit a great ball. When Josef Caes came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Zantho F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Caes couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Sean Weets made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Clijsters. F.C. Kaiser's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Goffrey Waron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goffrey Waron in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Clijsters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sean Weets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Clijsters having to interfere. Zantho F.C.'s Goffrey Waron got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Zantho F.C. were the better team. Zantho F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
