Spectators: 8099 (Terracing: 6076, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 161) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brent Bernaerts started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Zantho F.C. defense, Brent Bernaerts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitry Ceusters. The Zantho F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitry Ceusters should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Bastiaan Van den Panhuyzen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters. Dimitry Ceusters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dimitry Ceusters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Bernaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brent Bernaerts in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitry Ceusters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Jacques Van Wontergem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Raf Van Eijcken in the 25th minute really tested Bram Neys's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Brent Bernaerts might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimitry Ceusters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brent Bernaerts ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Nazario Da Messina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of De Salonsupporters booed when Zantho F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey De Weerdt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Brent Bernaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zantho F.C.'s Dimitry Ceusters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 played minutes De Salonsupporters got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Frans. A collision led to Zantho F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Constant Roekeloos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zantho F.C.'s Joey De Weerdt got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 48 minutes of play, De Salonsupporters's Brent Bernaerts made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitry Ceusters was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half De Salonsupporters were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Zantho F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Josef Caes hit a great ball. The De Salonsupporters fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when De Salonsupporters's Brent Bernaerts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Zantho F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Constant Roekeloos hit a great ball. Dimitry Ceusters was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Brent Bernaerts capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brent Bernaerts really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. After a rather tough play, Zantho F.C.'s Constant Roekeloos got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute, Brent Bernaerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Salonsupporters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 73 minutes into the game, De Salonsupporters's Brent Bernaerts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitry Ceusters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Sebastian Custermans charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Custermans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zantho F.C.'s Sebastian Custermans got a free kick in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Brent Bernaerts put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Dimitry Ceusters. After 83 played minutes Zantho F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Michael Lanphan. Brent Bernaerts who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Dimitry Ceusters when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brent Bernaerts did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Dimitry Ceusters 86 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constant Roekeloos during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Zantho F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constant Roekeloos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Zantho F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Constant Roekeloos hit a great ball. When Brent Bernaerts fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Salonsupporters's protests and gave Brent Bernaerts a yellow card for diving instead. After 98 played minutes De Salonsupporters got a freekick which was hit by Brent Bernaerts. De Salonsupporters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
