Spectators: 8005 (Terracing: 6050, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 100) Glen Saelens made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Zegelsem's Frederik Valcke got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute, Jorre Van Den Eynden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remco Feys was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Jorre Van Den Eynden lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Remco Feys. After some careless play in the Zegelsem defense, Jorre Van Den Eynden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remco Feys. The Zegelsem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remco Feys should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Jorre Van Den Eynden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VM HOPVELDEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jorre Van Den Eynden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Ritchie Van Craen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remco Feys was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. VM HOPVELDEN's Domingos Gonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Saelens in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, VM HOPVELDEN's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur De Baere came free, but Domingos Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remco Feys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Pivniceru in the 33rd minute of play. If Jorre Van Den Eynden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remco Feys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Dierickx in the 37th minute of play. If Jan Baecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remco Feys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorre Van Den Eynden in the 41st minute. Remco Feys was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Jan Baecke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Baecke really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. In the 46th minute, Jorre Van Den Eynden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 49th minute, Franky Goolen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VM HOPVELDEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The wind increased when Jorre Van Den Eynden made the kick off in the second half. If Franky Goolen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remco Feys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorre Van Den Eynden went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Jorre Van Den Eynden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Remco Feys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hendrik Dierickx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franky Goolen took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remco Feys. Remco Feys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Jorre Van Den Eynden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remco Feys having to interfere. Remco Feys didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorre Van Den Eynden went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Remco Feys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Dierickx in the 80th minute of play. Jorre Van Den Eynden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederik Valcke during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Zegelsem got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Valcke. Glen Saelens hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Robert Pivniceru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hendrik Dierickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97thth minute of the game Jorre Van Den Eynden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zegelsem's Remco Feys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ritchie Van Craen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VM HOPVELDEN fully deserved thier win.
