Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) Glen Saelens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Aalbeked's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Remie Van Den Brande fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glen Saelens in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Van Huruck saved Aalbeked from getting behind. Arthur De Baere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Vicente Van Huruck made a huge save. After 9 played minutes Aalbeked got a freekick which was hit by Henri-Patrick Paelemans. Vicente Van Huruck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen Saelens in the 10th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Lennert Daneels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Remco Feys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Zegelsem got a freekick which was hit by Arthur De Baere. Willy Goolen scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remco Feys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lennert Daneels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Aalbeked were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Carl Ablij fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aalbeked's protests and gave Carl Ablij a yellow card for diving instead. Carl Ablij hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Glen Saelens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henri-Patrick Paelemans kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Aalbeked's Vicente Van Huruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Saelens in the 64th minute of play. Vicente Van Huruck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glen Saelens, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ief Van dooren during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remco Feys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennert Daneels in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Glen Saelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Van Huruck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Ablij kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Glen Saelens made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Van Huruck. Aalbeked's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Willy Goolen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Willy Goolen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remco Feys. That made the score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Arthur De Baere took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Van Huruck. Vicente Van Huruck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aalbeked had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
