Marek Michna yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

In the 62nd minute Jorre Van Den Eynden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Michna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Michna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorre Van Den Eynden, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Marek Michna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Goolen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fc Brujas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Michna should have stopped the shot. The supporters of VM HOPVELDEN booed when Fc Brujas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Jonckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VM HOPVELDEN fully deserved thier win.
