Lennert Daneels hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Qwinten Ballette fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 36th minute Lennert Daneels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olliver De Maerschalckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricky Uytdebroeck during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Aalbeked got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Uytdebroeck. Vicente Van Huruck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Washington Gorena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play.

The wind increased when Willy Goolen made the kick off in the second half. If Kamiel Deflandre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Aalbeked's Vicente Van Huruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamiel Deflandre in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, LFC's Jeremy Walder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Van Huruck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to Aalbeked getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Qwinten Ballette hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Washington Gorena in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Van Huruck saved Aalbeked from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Aalbeked's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Walder came free, but Vicente Van Huruck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gino Demeulemeester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Demeulemeester struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Olliver De Maerschalckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aalbeked. Olliver De Maerschalckx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willy Goolen went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LFC had played much better football throughout.
