When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Basarab Bîlbă sped through Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nistor Isăilă. Gheorghe Muntian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's Nistor Isăilă got control of the ball when Basarab Bîlbă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nistor Isăilă was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lucian Florei. 39 minutes into the match, Amadeo Dacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Isăilă. Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Dacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nae Beniuc to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Lucian Florei got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The FC ANC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when FC ANC's Amadeo Dacio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 59th minute, Ernest Buculeasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Basarab Bîlbă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Isăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
