After some careless play in the Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca defense, Basarab Bîlbă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nistor Isăilă. The Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nistor Isăilă should have stopped the shot. Basarab Bîlbă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Isăilă having to interfere. After 21st play minutes Basarab Bîlbă shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Nistor Isăilă and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Amadeo Dacio sped through Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nistor Isăilă. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Dacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Isăilă was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Dacio in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Isăilă saved Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Basarab Bîlbă notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's Nistor Isăilă. Nistor Isăilă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nae Beniuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ernest Enciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC ANC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Lino Huarte got a free kick in the 59th minute. Lucian Florei kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. FC ANC's Ernest Enciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Iurea in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Dacio got free with Nistor Isăilă in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nistor Isăilă was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Basarab Bîlbă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Basarab Bîlbă really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 87 minutes into the game, Basarab Bîlbă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ANC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca the free kick. After 87 played minutes FC ANC got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Bîlbă. Nae Beniuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Enciu having to interfere. In the 94th minute, FC ANC's Basarab Bîlbă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The FC ANC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
