Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nae Ştiopul got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in BlackKnights's zone, Nae Ştiopul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Porumbescu came out of the goal and Nae Ştiopul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nistor Isăilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Corbuț, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A collision led to Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cristinel Iurea hit a great ball. When Nistor Purcărete fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BlackKnights's protests and gave Nistor Purcărete a yellow card for diving instead. Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's Sabin Pordea was substituted for Ernest Buculeasa. A collision led to BlackKnights getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nistor Purcărete hit a great ball. With a little luck, BlackKnights's Nistor Porumbescu got control of the ball when Cristinel Iurea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nae Ştiopul came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nistor Porumbescu could save by the left post. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BlackKnights's goalkeeper Nistor Porumbescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's Cristinel Iurea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Porumbescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Horea Poplăcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Isăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nae Ştiopul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Porumbescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Nae Ştiopul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BlackKnights's Nistor Porumbescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Topală in the 37th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Sabin Pordea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nistor Porumbescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Horea Poplăcan charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horea Poplăcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Horea Poplăcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Nae Ştiopul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Nae Ştiopul reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nistor Porumbescu. The goal made the score 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gheorghe Corbuț to strike the kick off in the second half. Nistor Isăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Corbuț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Nae Ştiopul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Iurea in the 56th minute of play forced BlackKnights's goalkeeper Nistor Porumbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Iurea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Porumbescu having to interfere. The supporters of BlackKnights booed when Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Pordea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca booed when BlackKnights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Bojincă didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Ştiopul in the 77th minute of play forced BlackKnights's goalkeeper Nistor Porumbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Gheorghiu was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca booed when BlackKnights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Gheorghiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nistor Porumbescu came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca's Cristinel Iurea. But to his dismay, Cristinel Iurea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 86th minute, Nae Ştiopul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Nistor Porumbescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristinel Iurea went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Cristinel Iurea took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Porumbescu. Nistor Porumbescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the referee ended the match the Inter Sport Cluj-Napoca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
