After having played for 71 minutes, Pantaley Ganev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Universitatea Cluj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pantaley Ganev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giannis Kalomiris might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petre Tufescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giannis Kalomiris ran back to his position shaking his head. Fellipe Guedes scored 4-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petre Tufescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Petre Tufescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. FC Universitatea Cluj walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
