In the 70th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Ţurlău to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Gigi Bobei was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 77 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Bobei. Nistor Vermeşan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sorin Nicorici during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sorin Nicorici hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
