Charlie von Clausewitz scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saif Al Hajri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salem Al Abdullah in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saif Al Hajri saved Horsham AFC from getting behind. Mahmoud Al Bloshi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mahmoud Al Bloshi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al Yarmouk Kuwait's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahmoud Al Bloshi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saif Al Hajri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Jawad Al Enzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horsham AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al Yarmouk Kuwait the free kick. Jawad Al Enzi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Al Yarmouk Kuwait's Salem Al Abdullah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saif Al Hajri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Charlie von Clausewitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahhad Al Rodhan in the 26th minute of play forced Al Yarmouk Kuwait's goalkeeper Bram Kiewit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Charlie von Clausewitz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saif Al Hajri came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Al Yarmouk Kuwait's Salem Al Abdullah. But to his dismay, Salem Al Abdullah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Salem Al Abdullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saif Al Hajri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monther Al Mansor's late challenge caught a Horsham AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monther Al Mansor helped the player get up and apologised. Monther Al Mansor hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, one of Al Yarmouk Kuwait:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bram Kiewit, was totally fooled by Horsham AFC's Yasser Al Dowaisan, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Charlie von Clausewitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saif Al Hajri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. If Charlie von Clausewitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Salem Al Abdullah fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al Yarmouk Kuwait's protests and gave Salem Al Abdullah a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Saif Al Hajri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Horsham AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Charlie von Clausewitz scored to the left of an out of position Saif Al Hajri, making the score, 1-6. After some careless play in the Horsham AFC defense, Charlie von Clausewitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saif Al Hajri. The Horsham AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saif Al Hajri should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Gartxot Verdugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saif Al Hajri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie von Clausewitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saif Al Hajri having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Mahmoud Al Bloshi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saif Al Hajri, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Al Bloshi in the 83rd minute of play forced Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Saif Al Hajri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saif Al Hajri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charlie von Clausewitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 88 minute of play.
