Spectators: 9753 (Terracing: 7050, Seating: 2487, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar started the match with the kick off. Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaker Al Adsani in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Horsham AFC's Fuad Al Amer got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 13th play minutes Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Saif Al Hajri and just under the crossbar into goal. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Saif Al Hajri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shabab Alahli. Shaker Al Adsani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saif Al Hajri having to interfere. The Shabab Alahli fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Shabab Alahli's Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Horsham AFC's Khalaf Al Bloshi threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fahhad Al Rodhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute, Baqer Al Khobaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faris Al Besher hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahhad Al Rodhan in the 35th minute of play forced Shabab Alahli's goalkeeper Khalaf Al Bloshi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalaf Al Bloshi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yasser Al Dowaisan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's goal looked a bit too open when Fahhad Al Rodhan came free, but Khalaf Al Bloshi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horsham AFC's goalkeeper Saif Al Hajri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Shabab Alahli were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fahhad Al Rodhan to strike the kick off in the second half. Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Horsham AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morad Bo Abbas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Shabab Alahli booed when Horsham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gawhar Al Matrok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar scored 1-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saif Al Hajri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Faris Al Besher could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Saif Al Hajri however easily saved by the left post. Morad Bo Abbas hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saif Al Hajri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saif Al Hajri was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Shabab Alahli were awarded a corner. Sajid Al Hashash went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Shabab Alahli's Sajid Al Hashash to fire away a dangerous shot which Saif Al Hajri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Fahhad Al Rodhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Lafi Ashkanani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morad Bo Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalaf Al Bloshi having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Morad Bo Abbas made a precise shot to the right of Khalaf Al Bloshi. Shabab Alahli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Shabab Alahli's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
