With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saif Al Hajri saved Horsham AFC from getting behind. When Horsham AFC's Fahhad Al Rodhan in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shabab Alahli's goalie prevented a goal. After 28 minutes of play, Horsham AFC's Fahhad Al Rodhan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalaf Al Bloshi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saif Al Hajri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faris Al Besher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saif Al Hajri having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saif Al Hajri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 played minutes Horsham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gawhar Al Matrok. In the 44th minute, Gawhar Al Matrok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Morad Bo Abbas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horsham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Morad Bo Abbas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalaf Al Bloshi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Horsham AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fahhad Al Rodhan was the one to do the kick off. If Shaker Al Adsani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shaker Al Adsani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saif Al Hajri having to interfere. Shaker Al Adsani struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Saif Al Hajri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shabab Alahli. Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Horsham AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
