In the 11th match minute, Shabab Alahli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sajid Al Hashash to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Al Yarmouk Kuwait booed when Shabab Alahli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khalaf Al Bloshi came out of the goal and Salem Al Abdullah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Charlie von Clausewitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalaf Al Bloshi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 44th minute, Hashem Al Enzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Rahman Shrean came free, but Khalaf Al Bloshi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdul Mohsen Al Bahar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Abdul Rahman Shrean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khalaf Al Bloshi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Shabab Alahli's goalkeeper Khalaf Al Bloshi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdul Rahman Shrean. Charlie von Clausewitz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 63rd minute Faris Al Besher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalaf Al Bloshi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salem Al Abdullah's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Charlie von Clausewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalaf Al Bloshi having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Mahmoud Al Bloshi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shabab Alahli's Khalaf Al Bloshi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Khalaf Al Bloshi had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Mahmoud Al Bloshi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 81st minute of the match Al Yarmouk Kuwait got a corner. Shabab Alahli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abdul Rahman Shrean ran over to the corner to take the kick. Al Yarmouk Kuwait's Charlie von Clausewitz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Khalaf Al Bloshi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Salem Al Abdullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Hamzah Al Motar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalaf Al Bloshi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Shabab Alahli's Khalaf Al Bloshi got control of the ball when Hamzah Al Motar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Khalaf Al Bloshi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salem Al Abdullah's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
