Quagitup's Farid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Kinnaird in the 2nd minute of play. Farid Mondragón made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Best Smoothy sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Vinhas in the 18th minute of play forced Ayreon's goalkeeper Joseph Mccormick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farid Mondragón was a little too slow when Arne Kinnaird got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. Joseph Mccormick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Quagitup were awarded a corner. Boyce Beaverley went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Cochrane managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 30 minutes of play, Ayreon's Arne Kinnaird made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Farid Mondragón was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Arne Kinnaird put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce Johnson in the 35th minute of the match. Barnett Paynter hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrício Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Kinnaird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alberto Cochrane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quagitup's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Cochrane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Mccormick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Boyce Beaverley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Mccormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Farid Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce Johnson in the 68th minute of the match. Bickford Dollimore kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Ayreon's Arne Kinnaird in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quagitup's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Arne Kinnaird sped through Quagitup's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Farid Mondragón. Joseph Mccormick made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Alberto Cochrane sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Quagitup's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Kinnaird came free, but Farid Mondragón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Luke Coleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
