Ayreon's Joseph Mccormick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Grandison in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Aron Warren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Mccormick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Mccormick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Golob in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Thomas Grandison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glasston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12thth minute of the game Rafael van der Vaart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayreon's Joseph Mccormick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael van der Vaart in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Mccormick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Bud Bonnison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayreon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glasston the free kick. A collision led to Ayreon getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bud Bonnison hit a great ball. Joseph Mccormick didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Glasston's Thomas Grandison shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Joseph Mccormick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael van der Vaart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Warren in the 42nd minute of play forced Ayreon's goalkeeper Joseph Mccormick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ayreon's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Golob came free, but Joseph Mccormick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51st minute, Mete Golob made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Mccormick. Ayreon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Thomas Grandison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joseph Mccormick made a huge save. Joseph Mccormick stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael van der Vaart's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Thomas Grandison took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Joseph Mccormick to make any attempt to save it. Thomas Grandison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Joseph Mccormick made a huge save. Glasston's Mete Golob got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes of play, Glasston's Mete Golob made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joseph Mccormick was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Ayreon's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Rolfsson came free, but Joseph Mccormick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glasston's Bruce Mcgrath was substituted for Thomas Grandison. Joseph Mccormick made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Mete Golob sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael van der Vaart in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Rolfsson got free with Joseph Mccormick in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayreon's goalkeeper Joseph Mccormick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute Barnett Allcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlton Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael van der Vaart in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Mccormick saved Ayreon from getting behind. The Ayreon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
