Anderson do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Paes in the 4th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Gigabyte Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Vinhas came free, but Anderson do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Paranaense hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Franklin Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anderson do Nascimento. Gigabyte Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, André Meirelles took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Anderson do Nascimento to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute, Elder Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gigabyte Futebol booed when Xiboquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xiboquinha FC's zone, Eurico Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Freire came out of the goal and Eurico Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Rômulo Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Cláudio Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eurico Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pedro Luís Paes hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th match minute, Xiboquinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Meireles to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Franklin Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xiboquinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Gigabyte Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Mendes came free, but Anderson do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Xiboquinha FC's Frédson Freire got control of the ball when Eurico Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Franklin Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Anderson do Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Walmyr Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betão Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson do Nascimento having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Paes in the 90th minute of play forced Gigabyte Futebol's goalkeeper Anderson do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gigabyte Futebol players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Xiboquinha FC.
