Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robinho Pitta got the match started through his kick off. Júlio de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Miguel Varela got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 11 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by David Guedes. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Fiori Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiori Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Xiboquinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th play minute Hélio Meireles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Germano Arósio. 2-0. Frédson Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Júlio de Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frédson Freire having to make a save. Jonathan Vargas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Vargas. In the 35th minute Cláudio Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan da Fonseca hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Germano Arósio got control of the ball when Hélio Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fabinho Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's protests and gave Fabinho Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. Fabinho Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Franklin Mendes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Germano Arósio. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélio Meireles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Frédson Freire had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robinho Pitta. Yuri Velloso's late challenge caught a Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yuri Velloso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Yuri Velloso got a free kick in the 58th minute. Juan da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Freire having to interfere. Germano Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Betão Vinhas went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Pitta got free with Frédson Freire in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Juan da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's protests and gave Juan da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Juan da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Varela during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Miguel Varela got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Robinho Pitta didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-1 via right post in the game's 85th minute. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Xiboquinha FC had won after a very even match.
