The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Etxepare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pompiliu Crainic in the 7th minute. Rolando Etxepare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Radzyminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Etxepare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Ghostbusters CF's Radu Trică got a free kick in the 28th minute. Lauro Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Zamfira in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of FC AdibA booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Neagu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes, FC AdibA's Sandu Gordunescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lauro Mangueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC AdibA reached it. Rolando Etxepare made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Lorenzo Garin sent off a good shot on target. FC AdibA's Rolando Etxepare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Trică in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Gustaw Zuraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC AdibA booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Trică didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Carp, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Rolando Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Radzyminski in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihnea Carp was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Eduard Izvoranu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Trică in the 58th minute of play forced FC AdibA's goalkeeper Rolando Etxepare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Ghostbusters CF's goalkeeper Lauro Mangueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Răzvan Zamfira. In the 62nd minute Radu Trică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Etxepare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, FC AdibA's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Radzyminski came free, but Rolando Etxepare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaw Zuraw kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rolando Etxepare came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ghostbusters CF's Boruc Radzyminski. But to his dismay, Boruc Radzyminski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 86 minutes into the match, FC AdibA's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Radzyminski came free, but Rolando Etxepare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Răzvan Zamfira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaw Zuraw kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rolando Etxepare came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ghostbusters CF's Lorenzo Garin. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Garin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The supporters of FC AdibA booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Radzyminski in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ghostbusters CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC AdibA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
