The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Cosa Nostra. 12 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's Dobri Karatotev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Etxepare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 played minutes FC AdibA got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Oancea. When Dobri Karatotev came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the La Cosa Nostra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobri Karatotev couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC AdibA's Șerban Oancea got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when FC AdibA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Oancea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes, La Cosa Nostra's Hans Bergfelt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Etxepare came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Cosa Nostra reached it. 27 minutes into the game, La Cosa Nostra's Dobri Karatotev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Etxepare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobri Karatotev in the 31st minute of play forced FC AdibA's goalkeeper Rolando Etxepare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Oancea kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. FC AdibA's Rolando Etxepare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Arenius in the 39th minute of play. Șerban Oancea made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ferdinand Bala immediately put the ball in play. After 45 played minutes La Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Hans Bergfelt. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobri Karatotev was the one to do the kick off. Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Zamfira in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Gordunescu in the 55th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Maurício Mansilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Maurício Mansilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Rolando Etxepare made a huge save. FC AdibA's Rolando Etxepare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Mansilha in the 91st minute of play. Maurício Mansilha in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Etxepare, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The FC AdibA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Cosa Nostra's performance. The match ended with a win for La Cosa Nostra.
