Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Billington took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Andrew James mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Billie Jean King Spirit and the Mercedario AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mercedario AFC booed when Billie Jean King Spirit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew James didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Salvador Berriotxoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Webster. Billie Jean King Spirit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Berriotxoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Mercedario AFC booed when Billie Jean King Spirit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billie Jean King Spirit's Mark Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Ovando in the 10th minute of play. Mercedario AFC's Adolfo Ovando got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Hernan Garcia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mark Webster. The goal made the score 2-0. 22 minutes into the game, Justo Tonio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mercedario AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billie Jean King Spirit the free kick. 22 minutes into the game, one of Mercedario AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Billie Jean King Spirit. Robert Billington stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gervasio Urtsua. 2-1. In the 27th match minute, Mercedario AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Orixe to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Andrew Brooks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Urtsua. Mercedario AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrew Brooks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 39 minutes into the match, Billie Jean King Spirit's goalkeeper Mark Webster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Garcia. Mercedario AFC's Hernan Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Mercedario AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Billie Jean King Spirit were winning 2-3.

Mercedario AFC's Desiderio Enmanuel was substituted for Adolfo Ovando. 65 minutes into the match, Billie Jean King Spirit's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Garcia came free, but Mark Webster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Desiderio Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercedario AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Enmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Roberts lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 70th minute, one of Billie Jean King Spirit:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Billie Jean King Spirit. Mark Webster didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Garcia went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Shaine Gordon hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Shaine Gordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gervasio Urtsua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaine Gordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Urtsua having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, Mercedario AFC's Hernan Garcia made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Webster was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mark Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Enmanuel in the 100th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mercedario AFC had played much better football throughout.
