Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Maxwell Calcagnini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Van Herendael having to interfere. Drew Casey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Pirlo in the 5th minute of the match. The Everett Hawks were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after University of Rochester's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kris Van Eersel took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Kris Van Eersel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Drew Casey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes into the game, The Everett Hawks's Philippe-Arnaud Heremans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Drew Casey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arnaldo Lop charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Lop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnaldo Lop hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Andreas Pirlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. University of Rochester's Drew Casey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Pirlo in the 24th minute of play. Willem-Jan Grootjans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Drew Casey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, University of Rochester's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Pirlo came free, but Drew Casey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Andreas Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Casey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Everett Hawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe-Arnaud Heremans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drew Casey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of University of Rochester booed when The Everett Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willem-Jan Grootjans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Everett Hawks's Henry Van Herendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxwell Calcagnini in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Everett Hawks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wawrzyniec Damaski was slow to take the kick. During this time University of Rochester's players had a chance to rest. Dale Kirkpatrick made a great header on University of Rochester's corner, it was just that The Everett Hawks's Henry Van Herendael managed to reach the ball for a save. The University of Rochester players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Everett Hawks were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Kirkpatrick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. University of Rochester's Maxwell Calcagnini quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Laureano Shantala, made in the 51st minute of the game. If Fre van Eijnde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dale Kirkpatrick fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored University of Rochester's protests and gave Dale Kirkpatrick a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, University of Rochester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Kirkpatrick to maneuver through the defense. Drew Casey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Pirlo in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, University of Rochester's Arnaldo Lop got a free kick in the 60th minute. Drew Casey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of The Everett Hawks booed when University of Rochester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drew Casey made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Andreas Pirlo sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, The Everett Hawks's Drew Casey threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 77 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Kirkpatrick came free, but Henry Van Herendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the University of Rochester defense, Willem-Jan Grootjans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Drew Casey. The University of Rochester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Drew Casey should have stopped the shot. The Everett Hawks's Johannes Teunis was substituted for Kris Van Eersel. After a rather tough play, University of Rochester's Maxwell Calcagnini got a free kick in the 94th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Drew Casey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Everett Hawks's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
