In the 16th match minute, The Everett Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Van Eersel to maneuver through the defense. Henry Van Herendael came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Titipounamu's Maximilian Larsson. But to his dismay, Maximilian Larsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Art Hauschildt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 30th minute of play forced Titipounamu's goalkeeper Art Hauschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Van Herendael having to interfere. The Everett Hawks's Henry Van Herendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Sayveon in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Titipounamu booed when The Everett Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Van Eersel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, The Everett Hawks's Laureano Shantala got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Everett Hawks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Melchor Sayveon was slow to take the kick. During this time Titipounamu's players had a chance to rest. Titipounamu's Vincente Santiago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henry Van Herendael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nando Pereira to make the kick off. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art Hauschildt having to interfere. Titipounamu's Art Hauschildt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Van Eersel in the 56th minute of play. Art Hauschildt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Art Hauschildt. Titipounamu made a substitution. Kirby Palmington replaced Jacobs Soekirno. Henry Van Herendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Everett Hawks's Henry Van Herendael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save The Everett Hawks from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Pirlo in the 83rd minute of play forced Titipounamu's goalkeeper Art Hauschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
