Drew Casey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Truman Crockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Ernesto Cao Xiao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. University of Rochester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. After 11 played minutes University of Rochester got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Cao Xiao. In the 12th minute, Truman Crockett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dale Kirkpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrod Leary having to interfere. After a rather tough play, University of Rochester's Ernesto Cao Xiao got a free kick in the 19th minute. Drew Casey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Truman Crockett, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jarrod Leary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the last second Jarrod Leary throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dale Kirkpatrick in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jarrod Leary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Kirkpatrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Truman Crockett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after University of Rochester's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodney Hagen took the corner. Jarrod Leary came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by University of Rochester's Dale Kirkpatrick. But to his dismay, Dale Kirkpatrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Drew Casey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Swanson to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Kirkpatrick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Drew Casey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Hagen in the 51st minute of the match. Wayne Bragg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Kirkpatrick in the 55th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jarrod Leary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarrod Leary stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dale Kirkpatrick's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Drew Casey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Truman Crockett in the 68th minute of the match. Drew Casey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Truman Crockett in the 73rd minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after University of Rochester's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodney Hagen took the corner. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Rodney Hagen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Drew Casey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anton Swanson might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Drew Casey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Swanson ran back to his position shaking his head. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson replaced Rodney Hagen. Drew Casey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 79th minute of play. University of Rochester's Drew Casey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 81st minute of play. If Truman Crockett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 85th minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Drew Casey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Swanson in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Anton Swanson put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Drew Casey. Dale Kirkpatrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarrod Leary read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Truman Crockett made a precise shot to the right of Drew Casey. University of Rochester's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Racing Miami Futbol Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than University of Rochester.
