Miroslaw Sidor hit a great ball. The supporters of Billie Jean King Spirit booed when Rokita Brzeg Dolny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Sidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Bogumil Poremba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Billington in the 5th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Mark Webster threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Andrychowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. During the 11th minute of the match Miroslaw Sidor completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Miroslaw Sidor a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Billie Jean King Spirit booed when Rokita Brzeg Dolny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Sidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogumil Poremba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Brooks, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Boleslaw Rawa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Webster was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrew Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robert Billington came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Billie Jean King Spirit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Billington couldn't finish the play. Bogumil Poremba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Billington, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Robert Billington's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogumil Poremba was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Mark Webster made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Boleslaw Rawa sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Alan McIntee in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Julian Mietus. Bogumil Poremba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Brooks in the 37th minute of the match. Robert Billington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Billington stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bogumil Poremba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrew Brooks in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaine Gordon in the 61st minute of play forced Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goalkeeper Bogumil Poremba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Andrew Brooks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Shaine Gordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Alan McIntee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Shaine Gordon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bogumil Poremba. That made the score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Shaine Gordon scored to the left of an out of position Bogumil Poremba, making the score, 1-3. 94 minutes into the game, Alan McIntee threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Julian Mietus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Billie Jean King Spirit walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
