Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hernan Garcia kicked off to start the match. Jacobo Tallia charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Tallia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Jacobo Tallia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Shaine Gordon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Billie Jean King Spirit's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaine Gordon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Urtsua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes Billie Jean King Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Andrew James. After a rather tough play, Mercedario AFC's Luisito Criston got a free kick in the 16th minute. Shaine Gordon struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gervasio Urtsua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Billie Jean King Spirit. Gervasio Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Billington in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Billie Jean King Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Brooks. Mark Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Ovando in the 28th minute of play. Mark Webster was a little too slow when Adolfo Ovando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 34th minute, Alan McIntee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Angel Manex fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercedario AFC's protests and gave Angel Manex a yellow card for diving instead. Angel Manex kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Andrew Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mercedario AFC made a substitution. Desiderio Enmanuel replaced Adolfo Ovando. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Billington stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mark Webster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Mercedario AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Billington came free, but Gervasio Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hernan Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mercedario AFC made a substitution. Federico Gentza replaced Jacobo Tallia. Shaine Gordon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Billie Jean King Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Robert Billington. In the 73rd minute, Hernan Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Webster was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Mark Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Garcia in the 79th minute of the match. Robert Billington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Urtsua having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Enmanuel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Webster was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. A collision led to Mercedario AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Angel Manex hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes Mercedario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Enmanuel. Andrew Brooks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Billington struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gervasio Urtsua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Billie Jean King Spirit. Robert Billington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gervasio Urtsua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Harrison kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Mercedario AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
