Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Mark Webster managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Billie Jean King Spirit booed when Lugano Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Javiero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrew Brooks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Wollans having to interfere. Eloy Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ruud Wollans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Billington, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ruud Wollans came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Billie Jean King Spirit's Andrew Brooks. But to his dismay, Andrew Brooks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the last second Mark Webster throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luciano Alvarez in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Lugano Futbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luciano Alvarez in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Luciano Alvarez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Billie Jean King Spirit's Mark Webster did a great save. Billie Jean King Spirit's Mark Webster couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Luciano Alvarez shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 25th minute, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Lugano Futbol's Eloy Herauso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Webster. Mark Webster yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Billie Jean King Spirit's goalkeeper Mark Webster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Liberto. Zacarias Pere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Luciano Alvarez took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Mark Webster to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Billington stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luciano Alvarez's late challenge caught a Billie Jean King Spirit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Alvarez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Luciano Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Timothy McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, David Roberts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. One of Billie Jean King Spirit:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lugano Futbol:s goal. Mark Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Alvarez in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Timothy McDonald could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Ruud Wollans however easily saved by the left post. Mark Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Alvarez in the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Billie Jean King Spirit defense, Luciano Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Webster. The Billie Jean King Spirit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Webster should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Robert Billington was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billie Jean King Spirit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugano Futbol the free kick. A collision led to Billie Jean King Spirit getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Robert Billington hit a great ball. Luciano Alvarez scored 5-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Webster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luciano Alvarez scored 6-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Webster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Andrew Brooks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billie Jean King Spirit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Lugano Futbol players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
