Dimos Papachronas kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Timothy McDonald hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Billie Jean King Spirit defense, Andreas Tsopelas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Webster. The Billie Jean King Spirit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Webster should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute of the match, Takis Marinakis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mark Webster saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mark Webster was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Takis Marinakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Takis Marinakis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Billie Jean King Spirit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Harrison to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Marinakis in the 25th minute of play forced Billie Jean King Spirit's goalkeeper Mark Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Sokratis Tsardikos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Tsopelas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mark Webster firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mark Webster was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andreas Tsopelas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Andreas Stamatakos put in a rough tackle. In the 35th minute, one of The Commandos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Commandos. Robert Billington shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Kosmas Chatziantonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Billington in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantinos Kostoulas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, The Commandos's Andreas Tsopelas got a free kick in the 54th minute. Robert Billington kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to The Commandos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Takis Marinakis hit a great ball. Shaine Gordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kosmas Chatziantonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to The Commandos getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dimos Papachronas hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Billie Jean King Spirit's Robert Billington tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Takis Marinakis's late challenge caught a Billie Jean King Spirit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takis Marinakis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Billie Jean King Spirit booed when The Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Marinakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Takis Marinakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kosmas Chatziantonis made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Shaine Gordon sent off a good shot on target. The Commandos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
