The supporters of Wangari Maathai Forest booed when Landgraaf 07 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Buckinx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marnix Kemper came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Wangari Maathai Forest's Spencer Jenkins. But to his dismay, Spencer Jenkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wangari Maathai Forest's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wayne Longman in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Landgraaf 07's Karsten Wijnands slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Ashton. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. David Ashton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karsten Wijnands's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The supporters of Landgraaf 07 booed when Wangari Maathai Forest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Andrews didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Kurt Redan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Ashton. Kurt Redan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Wangari Maathai Forest:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Landgraaf 07:s goal. Wangari Maathai Forest:s David Ashton showed great skill when he stopped Karsten Wijnands:s penalty. In the 40th play minute Karsten Wijnands came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Ashton. 4-1. Laurențiu Ciocan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. David Ashton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Landgraaf 07.

The wind increased when Mark Horton made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Wangari Maathai Forest's zone, Kurt Redan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Ashton came out of the goal and Kurt Redan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karsten Wijnands sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wangari Maathai Forest's Spencer Jenkins in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Landgraaf 07's goalie prevented a goal. David Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Redan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Kurt Redan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Ashton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Redan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. David Ashton didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Landgraaf 07's Kurt Redan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 75th minute Karsten Wijnands shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ashton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karsten Wijnands in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Wangari Maathai Forest defense, Kurt Redan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Ashton. The Wangari Maathai Forest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Ashton should have stopped the shot. In the 84thth minute of the game Kurt Redan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wangari Maathai Forest's David Ashton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Wangari Maathai Forest's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Wijnands came free, but David Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Spencer Jenkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marnix Kemper was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Mark Horton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marnix Kemper having to make a save. Marnix Kemper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Horton in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, Wangari Maathai Forest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spencer Jenkins to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Ashton. Wangari Maathai Forest's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Landgraaf 07 were the better team. Landgraaf 07's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
