A beautiful save bye Wangari Maathai Forest's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th minute, Roger Suárez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 9 minutes, Renato Otto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wangari Maathai Forest's David Ashton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Horton. 15 minutes into the match, Wangari Maathai Forest's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Suárez came free, but David Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Horton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Oks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spencer Jenkins in the 23rd minute of play. With his leg Aron Oks managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Wangari Maathai Forest's Mark Horton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 32 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Horton. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Horton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Suárez in the 43rd minute of play forced Wangari Maathai Forest's goalkeeper David Ashton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Suárez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. David Ashton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Wayne Longman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wayne Longman made a great header on Wangari Maathai Forest's corner, it was just that Munat Tayka's Aron Oks managed to reach the ball for a save. Roldan Abenda hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Wayne Longman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Munat Tayka's Aron Oks didn't even have to move. Aron Oks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Horton in the 71st minute of the match. When Roy Smith fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wangari Maathai Forest's protests and gave Roy Smith a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Roy Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Wangari Maathai Forest's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roger Suárez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wangari Maathai Forest's goalkeeper David Ashton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Horton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 minutes, Roger Suárez made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Wangari Maathai Forest's David Ashton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Taylor during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Wangari Maathai Forest getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. John Taylor hit a great ball. With a little luck, Wangari Maathai Forest's David Ashton got control of the ball when Renato Otto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Munat Tayka were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Wangari Maathai Forest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Libertad Abendano took the corner. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the match Wangari Maathai Forest got a corner. The corner led Wangari Maathai Forest's Wayne Longman to fire away a dangerous shot which Aron Oks despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Munat Tayka players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
