After a rather tough play, Los Jibaros's Fernan Tanio got a free kick in the 13th minute. Anastasio Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Viviano in the 14th minute of play. Aristides Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Generoso Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Vasco having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hilario FC defense, Amador Emmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Vasco. The Hilario FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Vasco should have stopped the shot. Generoso Vasco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Pastor Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Generoso Vasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st match minute, Hilario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Oro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Aristides Gombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Jibaros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Gombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario FC's Generoso Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Emmanuel in the 75th minute of play. Ramiro Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Estevon having to interfere. Anastasio Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
