Los Jibaros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes Atlético Club the free kick. Anastasio Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Goren in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Emmanuel came free, but Teo Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Joel Caradaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Amador Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Jibaros's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Los Jibaros's goalkeeper Anastasio Estevon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Goren. After having played for 91 minutes, Amador Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
