Armando Bastiaro's late challenge caught a Hilario FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Bastiaro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, West Ham United's Armando Bastiaro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute of the match, Pastor Quirce tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severino Mendebal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. West Ham United's Severino Mendebal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save West Ham United from getting a goal against them. After 12 played minutes West Ham United got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Francesco. Severino Mendebal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Quirce in the 13th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Carolo Maidana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Mendebal. West Ham United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Maidana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Carolo Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Severino Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. West Ham United's Severino Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Quirce in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Benigno Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Mancio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jairo Mancio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hilario FC booed when West Ham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Mancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Marcelino Formerio in the 33rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Severino Mendebal's left hand side. West Ham United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pastor Quirce 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Armando Bastiaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Mendebal made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ramiro Viviano sent off a good shot on target. Hilario FC's Severo Laurentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Quirce to strike the kick off in the second half. Severino Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Quirce in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Hilario FC's Pastor Quirce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Mendebal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Severino Mendebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Quirce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Ramiro Viviano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Severino Mendebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. West Ham United's Severino Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Viviano in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Hilario FC's Pastor Quirce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Mendebal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute Ramiro Viviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Mendebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Viviano in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Hilario FC were the better team. Hilario FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
