Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Los Jibaros's Amador Emmanuel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Los Jibaros's Gualterio Flores quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maximino Manny, made in the 9th minute of the game. Eleuterio Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Otoniel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anastasio Estevon. Los Jibaros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute Joel Caradaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Nemesio Solustiano in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Jibaros's Mauro Pacorro. Enzo Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Estevon having to interfere. Maximo Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Ricart having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Tirso to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Los Jibaros booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Jibaros's Anastasio Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Estevez in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Los Jibaros booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Tirso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Eleuterio Tirso fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Anastasio Estevon. Los Jibaros's Aristides Gombal got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernan Tanio made a great header on Los Jibaros's corner, it was just that La Scaloneta's Hipolito Ricart managed to reach the ball for a save. Hipolito Ricart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Emmanuel in the 73rd minute of play. Los Jibaros's Anastasio Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Estevez in the 80th minute of play. Amador Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Amador Emmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Anastasio Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amador Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Gualterio Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Los Jibaros players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
