When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ralph Desilets sped through GALATASARAY SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Carney. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralph Desilets in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Carney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralph Desilets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roberto Carney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Beauchamps during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, David Beauchamps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 28th minute of the match David Beauchamps completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave David Beauchamps a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 29 played minutes GALATASARAY SK got a freekick which was hit by David Beauchamps. Ralph Desilets might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Carney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralph Desilets ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Carney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Desilets, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Connie Lapierre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Zepeda having to interfere.

The wind increased when Ralph Desilets made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Carney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Desilets, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ralph Desilets in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roberto Carney, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roberto Carney made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ralph Desilets sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, GALATASARAY SK's Roberto Carney got control of the ball when Ralph Desilets tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ralph Desilets did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Roberto Carney 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Leon Pettit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Repentigny's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Pettit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Carney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Carney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ralph Desilets in the 86th minute. David Baird charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Baird the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Repentigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Baird to maneuver through the defense. Joe Poole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Roberto Carney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ralph Desilets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralph Desilets got free with Roberto Carney in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Repentigny played a much better game than GALATASARAY SK and deserved their victory. The GALATASARAY SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
