Arquímedes Arquett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato de Senna in the 21st minute of the match. Hamílton Secco's late challenge caught a Guerreiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamílton Secco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Hamílton Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes FC Pankakes got a freekick which was hit by Egídio de Azevedo. In the 35th minute, Perivaldo Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arquímedes Arquett came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Guerreiros FC's Donato de Senna. But to his dismay, Donato de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ulisses Azevedo's late challenge caught a FC Pankakes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato de Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio de Lara during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 57 minutes into the match, FC Pankakes's goalkeeper Arquímedes Arquett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perivaldo Aparecido. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Aparecido got free with Arquímedes Arquett in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldinho Neiva hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. FC Pankakes's Geraldo Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamílton Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Tavares having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Pankakes's Arquímedes Arquett got control of the ball when Perivaldo Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgílio de Lara was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
