I noticed since I returned to this game that too many things have not changed since i left in the sense that this game is too much pay to play and I was thinking what is the horizon of a new player who does not pay money to be a member, practically has no future in the game since he only plays two official matches a week it may seem to me but I see that the MZ community is declining because old users are retiring and nothing comes from behind and I think this game should be refreshed by organizing free competitions u18, u21, u23 for all users periodically
and apart from that maybe other things can be done but I don't see the MZ staff to worry about that

Righty ho had a wee look. Portugal player positioning was awful in the games they were beat! Can’t have any complaints!
Sweden played narrow against England’s Wings. Again got what they deserved!
Are France and Germany really a shock? They ain’t any bigger than England who were in Sweden’s group!

Those nights were great fun and great memories! Strange to think it was nearly 7 years ago since I did the last one in Leeds.

Hey Brian, it was a strange game, if the tactic England played was effective it should have prevented Sweden from creating scoring chances, but England's defensive side was a bit too separated from their offensive players and they lost more balls than they should on the midfield area, so what happened is that Sweden created 24 scoring chances and scored 2 goals, England created just 8 scoring chances but scored 3 of them with a conversion rate of about 40%. I'm guessing that's what Sweden is complaining about (if they're complaining)
In any case, England beating Sweden isn't a crazy result, I'd say more surprising is that Sweden barely beat Andorra 2-1

Tactics makes no difference now. Many times narrow 3-4-3 works perfectly against wing and can beat them easily, because short has the possesion for most of the game, when years ago you forgot to change the tactic and somebody had wing while you had short, it was a victory like 5-0.
It's not just National, it happens everywhere, and there was a topic about sim, when I saw the screen shots of some games, no wonder managers are leaving the game.
Mz revolution is needed, or it will go down more. I said before 1-10 skill range is not good, not enough ! So easy to get good players for everyone, so the crazy scores will happen more.
Today even bad teams have all 8-9 skilled players, you can go on market and get 33-34 old with 9-10 inteligence but poor speed/stamina and he will still make great difference. When motor skills stopped working the sim went crazy.
When I saw on 3d once when my player had 10/9 on speed stamina 8 inteligence, and were few times cought by a guy with 7/6 on speed and 7 inteligence, it told me to stop taking this game SERIUOUSLY !!!

Another example by our Irish team. We beat Russia and Slovakia the main rivals to leave the group, then lost 1-3 against Netherlands but had more shots, in the last we though easy game we drew against Moldova who had 0 points before our game. Than Russia some how beat 6-2 Netherlands which gave Russia the promotion..
And somebody tell me it's not all random.
