In the beginning..... 10000 BC...........A warrior Queen was born...

In an age long forgotten it was ordained by the ancient gods that Bessie, a half Saxon half Celtic siren of unsurpassed beauty would rule these sacred Islands. From every fibre and sinew of our beloved lands she comes. From the wild Scottish mountains to the rugged beaches of Cornwall, from the Welsh valleys to the Emerald Isle she casts her spell upon a wondrous, adoring, loyal people. For 10,000 years our goddess has ruled these lands with her blood, sweat and tears. But behold the dark horizon my friends. For a storm gathers and approaches with speed. A great army of darkness will descend upon our fair lands and challenge our very way of life. Never before has this hallowed place faced such mortal danger. It is time for all men to ask themselves who and what they are. To look within the soul and find a place called liberty. Sharpen your swords, adorn your armour and make peace with your god. For now is the time, now is the hour. There will be blood among the fields of corn and heroes in the hills. Kneel before your Queen and swear allegiance. It is time to fight or die.

Battle of the Planets - Bessie Reborn

The year is 2314.

Earth lies dormant, a wasteland extinct for centuries. Light years away in a distant galaxy 7 planets orbit a fledgling star. After years of inter planetary war 4 civilizations now live as one in fragile peace, but old rivalries die hard. All of them are descendants of the old world pioneers, planet earth’s last survivors, the colonisers of a new world.

Stories of legendary heroes from the old world are passed down across all four new worlds, great ancestors who shaped the destiny of this new civilization. None more so than the greatest warrior Queen of them all. Bessie. Heroic figures who battled to defend her honour are passed from father to son and generation to generation…..Zappa of the Cornish Shires, Prince Civilu of Transylvania, Sir Neil of the Hotspurs, Tosspot the Terrible, Sir Matt of the Valleys and Lord Mos of York to name but a few of many. Through the stars and emptiness of space their stories echo through the ages.

This fragile planetary peace is held together by another remnant of the old world….’’the beautiful game’’. 16 new heroes will step forward to represent each planet. 64 warriors ready to stand and die for the cause. For glory, honour, and the memory of Old Bess.

A new battle has begun...and some may mourn Old Bess…...but if the Sparrow has to fall that a Lark may rise, then the Sparrow has to fall.

The battle for celestial immortality has begun.
