Edmílson Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hélio Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Guedes got in the 8th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Jaime Souza and thus it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s zone, João Paulo Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Félix came out of the goal and João Paulo Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmílson Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s Afonso Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermínio Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s Hermínio Ferreira got a free kick in the 19th minute. Edmílson Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Souza having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Guedes to maneuver through the defense. João Paulo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hélio Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Novaes in the 38th minute of play forced ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s goalkeeper Hélio Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doni Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Prata received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaime Souza came out and tried to block the shot, but Doni Prata slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doni Prata made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmílson Novaes got free with Hélio Félix in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmílson Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Félix having to interfere. In the 64th minute, João Paulo Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angai's João Paulo Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Angai booed when ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s Hélio Félix got control of the ball when Edmílson Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Doni Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Edmílson Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Angai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Novaes couldn't finish the play. The ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
