Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) A sloppy throw-in by Justo Abaurre in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Poland's Krzysztof Piatek. U21 Poland's Edward Hajduk got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Hajduk in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Endira saved U21 Mexico from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Evaristo Ralondo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Norbert Mondrowski to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Edward Hajduk put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Candido Endira. In the 36thth minute of the game Edward Hajduk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Mexico's Candido Endira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Edward Hajduk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U21 Mexico! After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Edward Hajduk managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Poland's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Hajduk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Norbert Mondrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hiram Cisneros, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to U21 Mexico getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Risto Perišić hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Jon Pająk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and U21 Mexico's Candido Endira didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Hajduk in the 58th minute of play forced U21 Mexico's goalkeeper Candido Endira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Piatek hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. U21 Mexico made a substitution. Silvestre Behe replaced Hiram Cisneros. Eriberto Jaume made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Risto Perišić however managed to control. In the 70thth minute of the game Ricardo Eusko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Poland's Norbert Mondrowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Hajduk in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Candido Endira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Poland's Norbert Mondrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Behe in the 77th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Edward Hajduk made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Mexico's Candido Endira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Hajduk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Candido Endira. That made the score 1-7 in the 89 minute of play. Edward Hajduk's late challenge caught a U21 Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Hajduk helped the player get up and apologised. Edward Hajduk came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Candido Endira could save by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U21 Poland had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
