Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Baez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gary Gamble succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Zé Recife got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otávio Arce in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Crowder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luiz Fabiano Prata fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Cachoeirinha's protests and gave Luiz Fabiano Prata a yellow card for diving instead. Timothy Wilkerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Sanford Adkins got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Alfred Crowder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Recife in the 24th minute of play. Alfred Crowder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Arce in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Gary Gamble stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal and Gary Gamble tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flávio Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Veiga. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Elias Vianna hit a great ball. With a little luck, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral got control of the ball when Weston Rivera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Betão de Amaral was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Weston Rivera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Weston Rivera really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 36th minute, Gary Gamble got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gary Gamble could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Betão de Amaral made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otávio Arce to make the kick off. Luiz Fabiano Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alfred Crowder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Gamble in the 54th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes of play S.E. Cachoeirinha's Luiz Fabiano Prata was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 55th minute, Luiz Fabiano Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Timothy Wilkerson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Creekers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Cachoeirinha the free kick. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Timothy Wilkerson got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 61 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Ribeiro. 63 minutes into the match, Creekers's goalkeeper Alfred Crowder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Recife. When Alfredo Baez came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Creekers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Baez couldn't finish the play. Gary Gamble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Baez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Alfredo Baez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Gary Gamble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Alfredo Baez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creekers's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Baez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão de Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Creekers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
