Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Válter Tróia took the kick off in the first half of the match. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Tróia in the 2nd minute of play. Rafinha Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Edinho Tróia hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Maicon Tepedino scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão de Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th match minute, Taura Cupincha-U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Otávio Arce sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Taura Cupincha-U18's Jânio Palmeira didn't even have to move. Betão de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Zé Recife. Jânio Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Arce in the 35th minute of the match. Jânio Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafinha Gonçalves came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jânio Palmeira could save by the left post. 45 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Tepedino came free, but Betão de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Taura Cupincha-U18 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otávio Arce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Taura Cupincha-U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Zé Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Ernani Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Lima in the 59th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafinha Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Palmeira having to interfere. In the 66th minute Rafinha Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Taura Cupincha-U18's Edinho Tróia got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Mello. Víktor Castro's late challenge caught a Taura Cupincha-U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víktor Castro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Víktor Castro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Betão de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Lima in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Rafinha Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jânio Palmeira. Taura Cupincha-U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafinha Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Válter Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Taura Cupincha-U18 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
