Gregory Short started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Jaime Mathews cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. DeMarcus Peoples was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sonny Whalen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Sanford Carroll was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Woodrow Patrick stood somewhat misplaced when DeAngelo Denton came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 16 minute. Woodrow Patrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Metzger, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If DeAngelo Denton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. DeMarcus Peoples took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Mathews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Carlini hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, David McKinnon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Energy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Łapsze Niżne the free kick. When David McKinnon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Energy FC's David McKinnon got a free kick in the 34th minute. The supporters of Energy FC booed when GKS Łapsze Niżne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Burkhart didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Energy FC's goalkeeper Woodrow Patrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Energy FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Arellano. Homer Metzger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick got control of the ball when DeAngelo Denton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 49 minutes, Harvey Burkhart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harvey Burkhart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell DeAngelo Denton to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homer Metzger in the 64th minute of play forced Energy FC's goalkeeper Woodrow Patrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Mathews was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Energy FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sonny Whalen charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Whalen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Sanford Carroll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Arellano kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Woodrow Patrick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from DeAngelo Denton went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gregory Short kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Energy FC's Gregory Short suffered a concussion after 84 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, GKS Łapsze Niżne's Sonny Whalen got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Homer Metzger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Isidro Ziegler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Ziegler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Homer Metzger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Woodrow Patrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Isidro Ziegler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Homer Metzger struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Woodrow Patrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Łapsze Niżne. After having played for 98 minutes, Homer Metzger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Homer Metzger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dario Steele fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Energy FC's protests and gave Dario Steele a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Steele hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the GKS Łapsze Niżne players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
