Ali Thomson made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when DeAngelo Denton sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the game, Homer Metzger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ali Thomson. Homer Metzger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ned Turner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When GKS Łapsze Niżne's Homer Metzger in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Menlo's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Menlo's Winston Fraser got a free kick in the 17th minute. Isidro Ziegler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Menlo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Winston Fraser hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, GKS Łapsze Niżne's DeAngelo Denton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Isidro Ziegler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Menlo's Ali Thomson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Metzger in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Collin Norwood was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menlo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Łapsze Niżne the free kick. In the 34th minute, Collin Norwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Thomson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeAngelo Denton in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of GKS Łapsze Niżne booed when Menlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lincoln Herndon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Homer Metzger notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Menlo's Ali Thomson. Ali Thomson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When DeAngelo Denton came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the GKS Łapsze Niżne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that DeAngelo Denton couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lincoln Herndon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, DeAngelo Denton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Thomson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ali Thomson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from DeAngelo Denton, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Menlo's goal looked a bit too open when DeAngelo Denton came free, but Ali Thomson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, João Carlos Carlini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos Carlini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Carlos Carlini took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Thomson. Ali Thomson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 81st minute, DeAngelo Denton made a precise shot to the right of Ali Thomson. Menlo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Đỗ Do fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Thomson having to interfere. After 92 played minutes GKS Łapsze Niżne got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Carlini. 94 minutes into the match, DeAngelo Denton notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Menlo's Ali Thomson. Ali Thomson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
