Patrick Smalls hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Lu Guang Zhen scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Woodrow Patrick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Guang Zhen in the 9th minute of play. Parma's Douglas Orlinsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Steele in the 25th minute of play. Lu Guang Zhen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jaime Mathews took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Douglas Orlinsky. Parma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, David McKinnon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Orlinsky. Parma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David McKinnon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Guang Zhen in the 32nd minute of play. Enzo Gourlay scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Woodrow Patrick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Lu Guang Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Woodrow Patrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Woodrow Patrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Guang Zhen in the 37th minute of play. Parma's Shaun Ambriz was substituted for Micah Uribe. In the 47th minute, Stanislav Smrtič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lu Guang Zhen made the kick off in the second half. Douglas Orlinsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Short in the 54th minute of the match. When Enzo Gourlay came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Parma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Gourlay couldn't finish the play. Gregory Short struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Douglas Orlinsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Energy FC. Douglas Orlinsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Steele in the 63rd minute of play. Enzo Gourlay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Gourlay in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Woodrow Patrick saved Energy FC from getting behind. After 70 minutes, David McKinnon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Energy FC and the Parma players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Energy FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. David McKinnon hit a great ball. Douglas Orlinsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Steele in the 74th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Parma's Lu Guang Zhen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 87th minute, Stanislav Smrtič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Parma's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Steele came free, but Douglas Orlinsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lu Guang Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parma's supporters rose to their feet, but Lu Guang Zhen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Woodrow Patrick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute Enzo Gourlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Woodrow Patrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parma's Douglas Orlinsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Steele in the 98th minute of play. The Parma supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Parma would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
