Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Kent Patrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Woodrow Patrick came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Vice Croydon AFC's Kent Patrick. But to his dismay, Kent Patrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 8 minutes, Kurt Esposito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vice Croydon AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Esposito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jess Hinkle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Woodrow Patrick was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Jess Hinkle struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Woodrow Patrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vice Croydon AFC. Kent Patrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Woodrow Patrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kurt Esposito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Woodrow Patrick was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Woodrow Patrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazil Tokur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes, Stanley Jean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Energy FC and the Vice Croydon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stanley Jean hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Donovan Montano kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Energy FC's zone, Kent Patrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Woodrow Patrick came out of the goal and Kent Patrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Woodrow Patrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazil Tokur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Denis Stearns fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Energy FC's protests and gave Denis Stearns a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Energy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Stearns to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregory Short was the one to do the kick off. Kent Patrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Francesco Nava was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vice Croydon AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Energy FC the free kick. In the 58th minute, Francesco Nava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick got control of the ball when Kent Patrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jess Hinkle did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Woodrow Patrick 65 minutes into the match. Energy FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jess Hinkle 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. When Jess Hinkle came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Vice Croydon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jess Hinkle couldn't finish the play. Woodrow Patrick came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Vice Croydon AFC's Kent Patrick. But to his dismay, Kent Patrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Vice Croydon AFC's Jess Hinkle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Woodrow Patrick. That made the score 0-6 after 87 minutes of play. Vice Croydon AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
