If Harry Atkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knights of the Spring's Russ Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Farrell in the 15th minute of play. Patrick Scargill kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Harleston United's Shane Tipton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Harleston United from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd play minute Micheal Goodman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Shane Tipton. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dom Halliday in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shane Tipton saved Harleston United from getting behind. Anthony Reid took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shane Tipton. Shane Tipton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of Knights of the Spring booed when Harleston United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glyn Hurst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dom Halliday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shane Tipton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dom Halliday, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 46 minutes, Harry Atkinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harleston United and the Knights of the Spring players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Harleston United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Harry Atkinson hit a great ball. Harleston United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Dom Halliday scored to the left of an out of position Shane Tipton, making the score, 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Glyn Hurst made a kick off. Knights of the Spring's Russ Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Farrell in the 53rd minute of play. 5-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Dom Halliday elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Shane Tipton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micheal Goodman in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micheal Goodman in the 66th minute of play forced Harleston United's goalkeeper Shane Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Scargill hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Patrick Scargill charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Scargill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Harleston United got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Scargill. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dom Halliday in the 75th minute of play forced Harleston United's goalkeeper Shane Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Russ Webster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bradley Farrell in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute Dom Halliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Tipton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Harleston United defense, Anthony Reid kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shane Tipton. The Harleston United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shane Tipton should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Knights of the Spring getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Micheal Goodman hit a great ball.
